Журнал «Криосфера Земли» (англ. Earth’s Cryosphere) — российский научный журнал, посвящённый проблемам криологии. Выпускается с 1997 года. Периодичность — 6 номеров в год (до 2017 года — 4 номера в год). С 2014 года выходит англоязычная версия журнала. Соучредители журнала — Сибирское отделение РАН, Институт криосферы Земли ТюмНЦ СО РАН, Институт мерзлотоведения им. П.И. Мельникова СО РАН. Главный редактор журнала — Член-корреспондент РАН Железняк Михаил Николаевич. Журнал выпускается Академическим издательством «СО РАН». Журнал включен в список изданий, рекомендуемых ВАК для публикации основных научных результатов диссертаций на cоискание ученой степени кандидата наук, на соискание ученой степени доктора наук; индексируется в базах данных НЭБ (elibrary.ru), Scopus и др. Публикация в журнале бесплатна для авторов, за исключением оплаты печати цветных рисунков.
Kriosfera Zemli (Earth’s Cryosphere) is a top-line peer-review periodical scientific journal on the list of the Russian State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles. It is indexed in the Scopus, RSCI Web of Science (Russian science citation index), and GeoRef abstract databases.
The journal publishes results of original researches concerned with various cryosphere issues with focus on permafrost investigations: new data on permafrost structure, characteristics, formation and evolution, methods and results of permafrost modeling, methods for studying permafrost on the Earth and other planets, with reference to interdisciplinary studies.
The publications include regular papers, as well as comprehensive subject reviews, discussions, critical and commentary articles, science news, and advertisement. The journal neither pays royalty nor charges publication fees, except the fee for figues printed in colour.
